The college attaches great importance to academic and cultural exchanges with overseas institutions, and has also conducted cooperation with domestic universities. It has hosted 12 major domestic academic conferences such as the 9th National Agricultural Engineering Discipline Construction Symposium, and invited more than 100 academicians and other well-known scholars for visit and exchange. In the past 5 years, more than 30 teachers have been selected to study in well-known foreign universities. The college has taken the initiatives to has widespread cooperation with Texas A&M University, Iowa State University, The University of Georgia, Jülich Plant Phenotyping Centre and so on. Also, the college has invited more than 40 internationally renowned scholars such as Professor Sanjit Mitra, an academician of the American Academy of Engineering for visit.
